This fabric was described as black and white but it is actually black and cream.

I used new stripe pillow ticking to make this adorable cover. It is a medium weight fabric and is usually referred to as a utility fabric. Farmers wives back in the day would stuff the pillows with chicken feathers!!
The edges of my pillow covers are double stitched and I fully line my pillows for extra support. I put a zipper in the bottom for you to insert a pillow form.

This pillow cover is 16″ x 16″ – it is the cover ONLY. You can purchase an insert at any craft or fabric store, Walmart or feel free to use one of your own pillows of a common size. It is best to use one 2″ larger so an 18″x 18″ is perfect.

Here is a little tip …. purchase a separate bag of polyfil and if need be, stuff some in the upper corners to bulk up the pillow!!
